Information Blocking Rule

Feeling anxiety about how the Information Blocking Rule.  Maybe someone told you there is an “Open Notes Rule?”  Is it going to affect client access rights in records in your practice?

It is a new rule, but access  rights are not new.  A vital conversation around  the new rule is important for clinicians to understand.  The new rule about information blocking rule  provides more clarity and urgency to record rights procedures. But it doesn’t come from HIPAA.

The rule was the topic of the Mar 12, 2021 “The Break Room” discussion.  This recording allows those who could not participate in the webinar to have some information for clinicians to have peace of mind.
