Cross-Jurisdiction Clinical Practice

Telehealth can easily involve the clinical social worker in practice across state lines and even out of the United States. Telehealth has expanded dramatically in the recent past; however, not all states and countries have updated their laws and regulations to allow social workers to have complete reciprocity of licensure and practice. This workshop covers the essential issues and provides a method for social workers to do their due diligence ethically and legally to practice in cross-jurisdictions for continuity of care and safety.

This self-study course will focus on practicing legally across state and jurisdictional lines. The KY Board of Soical Work approves this course –  Sponsor number KBSWSP202228.
